19th century globe from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

The spinning globe, which was made in Edinburgh out of papier mache,

sold for £17,750 at an auction held via Sothebys in March 2002.

JKR donates Time Turner to charity
JK Rowling has donated the Time Turner that Hermione used in the POA movie to Edinburgh Maggie's Center, a charity which provides cancer support, information and stress management. The prop fetched £3,000 ($5,400).
