| THE
COLONIAL FORCES In the
beginning Man lived on 12 colonies throughout the
heavens. The great fortresses in the sky known as
the Battlestars kept the peace and protected the
colonies from man's long time enemy the machine
race known as the Cylons.
One day a historic peace accord betwen the
Cylons and man was to be signed. But the Cylons
used this treaty as a clever ploy to divert
attention away from their secret attack plans.
All but one Battlestar known to exist then was
destroyed and all of the colonies were destroyed
by Cylon aerial bombardments in the aftermath.
What was left of the great colonies took to
space once more as their colonial ancestors had
in the past. This time a single Battlestar would
have to protect the "ragtag fleet" of
man's salvation that took to space in search of a
legendary 13th colony known to them only as
Earth.
Colonial forces are vastly outmatched by Cylon
strength numerically but the colonial fleet does
have a superior space attack vehicle known as the
Colonial Viper. With the legendary colonial
warriors motivated with a sense of chivalric
purpose; the smaller human force can match and
almost beat the Cylons on occasion.
