National Lampoon Vacation Movies
National Lampoons Vacation This is the movie that introduces the Griswald family to the world. The family includes the dad that loves to plan for the perfect vacation (played by Chevy Chase), his wife who tries to put up with all his blunders, the daugher that wants to grow up, and the son that hopes to score sometime soon. This vacation is going to be to the themepark Wally World. Along the way the dad finds a beautiful girl in a ferarri to chase and a slew of problems to deal with. When the family finally makes it to the mythical Wally World, the place is closed. At gunpoint the dad forces the attendant to let his family ride the rides. This is the first in a series of four movies with this family. The National Lampoon Vacation movies were so popular that other unrelated titles began to borrow the National Lampoons to include in their title such as National Lampoons Loaded Weapon. |

National Lampoons Europeon
Vacation This second movie takes the family on a vacation to Europe. In England they meet a bicyclist so polite that after the family runs him over he apoligizes and tries to even dust off their car before picking up his bicycle that was so badly damaged that it looked almost like a pretzel. On the road the family meets a circular car intersection so conjusted that the family has to circle it for hours before they are able to leave. Naturally the family visits Stonehenge and knocks the thing over when they back into it with their car right before leaving. This film is very much like the first as far as its setup. |

National Lampoons Vegas Vacation This last movie in the saga was probably not the best. The highlights of the film include the wife's time listening to her favorite singer Wayne Newton, and more time with crazy relatives in addition to gambling. |
