Russian Uniforms

The very best source for authentic Russian uniforms is the Sovietski Store. They have Russian military uniforms, army headgear, flight suits, night vision, Cosmonaut Space Suits, and even a peculiar "I love USA" shirt in Russian for sale. One of the more interesting things the store sells via special arrangement with Russia is a special test flight on a modern Russian Mig fighter plane. Below are pictures of just some things the store sells including a Fur cap of the type Russian troops wear in Red Dawn, a Russian Overcoat, authentic Mig Fighter Flight Suit, Generals cap, and Paratrooper's helmet. Visit Sovietski Store and browse under collectibles and then uniforms to find these items.

Military Weapons

Throughout the Red Dawn movie a variety of weapons are shown again and again. But first and foremost the movie showcases the AK-47, the standard rifle of Russian forces. Red Dawn is the movie that made the firing sound of an AK-47 a work of poetry. The best economical replica of the AK-47 is an airsoft rifle or an exacting replica that fires plastic BB's. Towards the end of Red Dawn the Russian "hunter" brought in to provide a plan for hunting down the Wolverines utilizes his own weapon of choice an Uzi like weapon. As Jed and his brother try to escape via train this hunter unfolds his submachinegun and fires off a short burst. The best Uzi replica is also an airsoft. Below are pictures of airsoft Uzi's and Airsoft AK-47. These types of gun replicas are available for sale on ebay often at very affordable prices.
