Rounders

In the high stakes world of gambling there are two classes of gamblers; those that play by luck, and those that play by skill. Matt Damon plays one of the later, as he plays poker for a living complete with all its great highs and even greater falls. His friend however holds him back and ruins his reputation and runs up quite a debt for him to pay. In one scene, this "friend" cheats in a game held in a room with nothing but highway patrolman and is caught. Quite a troublesome situation it was to say the least. The movie presents poker as a game of pschology, math, and logic. The game is of passion and one of winner takes all in this movie. In the finale, Matt Damon's character enters the "World Series of Gambling" with $10,000 and plays against the best of the best and wins.
